In the latest episode of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T delved into several topics surrounding the WWE, specifically focusing on Shinsuke Nakamura’s recent comeback on WWE SmackDown, which sparked a feud with WWE United States Champion LA Knight.
Below are some key points from the podcast:
Speaking about Nakamura’s comeback, Booker T said, “I appreciate this matchup [with LA Knight]. LA Knight requires something to ignite his energy once more. It feels like he’s slightly faded. His star seems to be dimming somewhat. So, I believe Shinsuke Nakamura will absolutely be the correct person. I’m a big fan of Shinsuke. I adore everything about him. He’s the quiet killer. He’s the assassin. He’s the ninja. So yeah, I’m into it.”
Booker T further discussed how Reality of Wrestling, the company he co-founded, being designated as a WWE ID school. He said, “The only luck you’ll ever get in this world and in this life we’re living is preparation. I’ve been gearing up for this WWE ID program for nearly two decades now, 19 years to be exact. We’re just a year shy from completing 20 years with Reality of Wrestling. We’ve been contemplating about the training techniques. We’ve been imagining where these young talents will actually go to reach that next rung. I was considering doing online classes as far back as 2005, but simply didn’t have the capabilities back then.”
