Booker T Says AEW Is Wrong With Their Choices Of The ‘Four Pillars’

Who are the real four pillars of All Elite Wrestling?

For years, AEW has promoted MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry as the four pillars: talent who will prove to be the bedrock of the company one day.

The notion of the four pillars has received some criticism, with Ricky Starks claiming it makes the rest of the roster seem irrelevant.

Speaking on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T said that AEW’s choices as the four pillars are misguided and gave his own picks. He said,

“A pillar, for me, is the guy who’s building the foundation. That would be a guy like Moxley.”

Booker then agreed with his co-host Brad Gilmore that the four pillars of AEW should be Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, and Kenny Omega.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer added that he is against AEW stars speaking out against the concept, as Ricky Starks did. He said,

“You don’t hear [those] guys saying [anything]. You know why? … It is a work. Come on, man. Wake up. Wise up. Wise up and quit giving the fans clickbait stuff like this. Wise up. Quit marking out over yourself. That’s what this thing’s about.”

At AEW Double or Nothing, the four pillars of AEW faced off for the AEW World Championship in a match that saw MJF retain his title.
