Booker T Recalls Competing In The First Elimination Chamber Match

Booker T belonged to the really first Elimination Chamber match, and the two-time WWE Hall of Famer remains in no rush to return.

At Survivor Series 2002, completed along with RVD, Kane, Chris Jericho, Triple H, and ultimate winner Shawn Michaels.

Discussing his Chamber experiences on his podcast, Booker made it clear he didn’t take pleasure in the match.

“I seemed like I ran out my convenience zone. A great deal of things I could not manage as far as whether I was going to get harmed or not. Bouncing off a cage is extremely, really unforgiving. For me, Elimination Chamber match, the very first one in WWE of that period, it resembled operating in hell.

“There’s no other way you can not get harmed. Those kinds of matches are for people like discomfort freaks [that have] something to show to the world, to themselves, you understand, and aiming to leave a mark.”

Booker was the 2nd male removed from the inaugural Elimination Chamber match and lasted simply under 18 minutes.
