WWE Hall of Famer Booker T isn’t too bothered about wrestling promotions piping in crowd noise to portray a desired response that the actual audience may not be giving.
WWE, among other promotions, has used piped-in audio over the years, with the reaction fans hear at home often being much different from the live crowd.
During his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker addressed promotion piping in audio. He said,
“It’s not something I really think about or look at or anything like that. Just like when we had the pandemic and they piped in the crowd noise, it made the show a little bit better.
“I think, for me, I am not really paying too much attention to something like that. The thing is, the people that’s writing about it probably wouldn’t have paid a whole lot of attention to it if someone wouldn’t have written about it and said that it actually happened.”
Booker currently calls the action of WWE NXT alongside Vic Joseph, a role the former World Champion has been in since late 2022.
