Booker T can feel the heat that Mike Tyson brings to the pro wrestling game. On his latest episode of The Hall Of Fame with Brad Gilmore, Booker gave his thoughts on The Baddest Man On The Planet showing up with his unique posse at last night’s Dynamite during the closing segment with Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle.

“Mike Tyson’s back, I love it. You know what I mean? I’m a huge Mike Tyson fan, you know that. We were just in Vegas not too long ago, me and Mike hung out! We actually didn’t hang out, we took a photo together,” Booker jokingly clarified and then made note of how competition takes note, not just of Tyson but of the talent that surrounded Mike on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

“To bring Mike in, that’s star power, man. And then you know, there’s a war going on! The other side is looking, ‘Oh man, they got Mike Tyson! They got Rashad Evans. They got Cejudo! Cejudo, he’s not that big of a guy, but hey, he’s a tough guy.”

Even being in his 50s, Booker notes that Tyson is a worldwide household name and having him on your program will get eyes on it.

“Mike Tyson, right now, still his name is known all over the world. Mike Tyson can walk in any stadium when there’s a fight going on and everybody is going to stand up because the king has arrived and that’s what Mike Tyson brought to the game, man. Knockin’ people out!”

Booker T is not wrong either as this week’s episode of Dynamite drew it’s largest number in awhile with 827,000 viewers, making the program fourth overall in network programming. That’s up from it’s 2020 low of 654,000 two weeks ago.
