WWE NXT commentator Booker T will serve as the General Manager of the gold brand if he’s asked, but he’s not actively seeking the opportunity.
On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T was asked if he would ever be interested in being an authority figure in WWE NXT. He said,
“It’s not something I would want to do, but I would probably do it, just because I’m a team player. It’s just another job, more than anything. I’ve always looked at myself like a utility guy. I like doing commentary. If they want to shift me to do a GM thing, I would do it. It’s just another role.”
Booker T has been a commentator for NXT since October of last year and works alongside Vic Joseph. He has previously been a General Manager for WWE SmackDown.
