During his recent visit to the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T, expressed his views on retirement, the potential of a comeback in the Royal Rumble game, plus more.

Here are a few excerpts from that podcast:

Addressing his retirement, Booker T professed, “I am definitely not retiring. I’ll surely step into the ring again, either in Reality of Wrestling or somewhere in Saudi.”

On the possibility of another appearance in the Royal Rumble game, he mentioned, “The unexpected entry in the past was a wonderful finale for me. It’s quite challenging to replicate such moments. I am not anticipating any more appearances in the Royal Rumble.”

Regarding the partnership of WWE and TNA, he espoused, “I couldn’t visualize this collaboration in 2008. However, as of now, I see this alliance benefiting talents more than anything. For instance, Jordynne Grace’s performance at the Rumble was noteworthy. WWE isn’t for everyone. However, prospects like Moose should be given a chance, as it will only be good for the business.”

When questioned about his notorious supermarket fight with Steve Austin, he reminisced, “I saw the entire incident for the first time a few months back and couldn’t stop laughing. Everyone assumes our clash was a traditional match except for the venue being a grocery store! Overall, we caused around ,000 in damages.”

Regarding the extent of damage during the brawl, he stated, “We obliterated the entire produce section. After our fight, they had to get rid of all the fruits and vegetables. Regardless, performing in front of the audience and creating unforgettable moments are what I miss the most about wrestling.”

On his WrestleMania 18 match with Edge, which was originally supposed to be a hair vs hair match, he explained, “Edge and I were asked to either chop our hair off. Since neither of us were willing to do so, the idea was dropped. Despite this, working with Edge was an enjoyable experience.”
