In a recent episode of his popular “Hall of Fame” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T, opens up about a variety of topics. He dives into a discourse about recent WWE NXT promotions, the ongoing rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, among other things.
Below are some noteworthy excerpts from the podcast:
Booker T shares his thoughts on how recent NXT promotions like Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes have performed on the main choice. He says, “Man, these recent promotions have been performing exceptionally well. Undeniably, it’s a journey to find their place, it won’t happen overnight. Considering how they are nurturing Bron Breakker’s presence, the lad is destined to do wonders in the future. But the overall work put into the NXT promotions is commendable. The recent NXT show was a mega hit. We even had some of the TNA guys make an appearance in the arena and got to chill with Tommy Dreamer who was at the NXT Arena, too. To sum it up, NXT is creating quite a buzz and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.”
Booker T also provides his take on the ongoing feud between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. He remarks, “Drew McIntyre is certainly in his element and is doing phenomenal work. His storyline with CM Punk has been stretched to such an extent where it genuinely comes off as a plot. It will be interesting to see how things pan out.”
In addition to his commentary, a relevant video titled “Who Killed the WCW, Pt. 3?” was also shared during the podcast. [embedded content]
