The WWE women’s roster should simply “fall in line” according to Booker T and respect Charlotte Flair as the unquestionable best woman working today.
WWE’s most decorated female champion returned to programming earlier this month after not being seen since losing the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 39.
Upon returning during the June 9, 2023 SmackDown, Charlotte immediately received a title opportunity against Women’s Universal Champion Asuka for later this month.
Speaking on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T argued that Charlotte has more star power than any other woman and claims that everybody knows it. He said,
“She’s the star of the show. She knows it. Everybody else knows it. Fall in line. It’s the best thing going today. You don’t have to like it, but you better learn to love it … It’s only fitting. She’s the best at what she does, man.”
Booker also suggested that Flair is such a star that it is a matter of time before she transitions into an entertainment role outside of the ring. He said,
“Wrestling is literally going to be something in her rearview mirror in the next five years, just because there’s so much more out there for her right now. And I think she knows that, too. I think she wants more.”
Flair will challenge Asuka for the WWE Women’s Universal Championship on the June 30, 2023 episode of WWE SmackDown.
