In a recent edition of the “Busted Busted Open” podcast, reigning champion Jayne reflected on her current title reign, now in its second week. She spoke of her victory as a validating moment, justifying her belief that she was destined for more than just tag team accomplishments. She said,
“I feel like it was validation, because I feel like I’ve always known I was capable of more than just being a tag team wrestler. It was just waiting for the right opportunity to show the world that…I am just getting started and I have so much more to show everybody.”
Asked about her feelings after her victory, Jayne responded,
“I feel like it’s such a blur, to be honest with you…I just started crying one day during my training, for no apparent reason. That was the first moment it really sank in.”
On WWE RAW this past week, R-Truth made headlines with his unexpected return in the Money In The Bank 2025, and equally surprising decision to cut off his signature braids, thereby reintroducing himself as Ron Killings.
Lots of chatter ensued about his return, with many dismissing the notion that it was a planned storyline. Offering his take on Killings’ comeback on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T voiced his thoughts on Killings’ potential future in wrestling. He said,
“…about Ron Killings. Pros and cons…he’d be somewhere. He’d be working…was it a work? [I don’t think so]. But, if it was, it would’ve been a damn good work.”
Booker T suggested that the unexpected return could have been leveraged better. He noted,
“You might as well. This business has always been about creating…Was it designed that way? No… These guys may not know me… but people who were trying to make this a race thing, it pisses me off. It really does. I don’t think that’s what it’s about.”
Booker T envisioned a great future for Killings and even speculated about him capturing a World Title. He stated,
“He’s not R-Truth anymore… Let’s see what Ron Killings brings to the table. I see Ron Killings winning the World Heavyweight Championship…Put the title on him. How crazy would that be?…”
