“For me, the six-sided ring was TNA’s true identity, that’s what made them different than any wrestling company out there. Now, I don’t know how difficult it is to make those six-sided rings — it can’t be that hard, you know what I mean? It can’t be that hard to house two, or three, or four, or five of them in a warehouse to just keep them fresh throughout the year and whatnot.”

When asked about whether the ring should be brought back to go with TNA’s rebranding in January 2024, Booker T said “Yes, I wish they would bring it back.”

Booker joined TNA Wrestling in 2007 and remained with the promotion until 2010. He returned to WWE in 2011 as part of that year’s Royal Rumble match.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently expressed his belief that TNA Wrestling should bring back the six-sided ring, as he considers it to be the promotion’s true identity. Booker T shared his thoughts on the matter during a recent episode of his “Hall of Fame” podcast.

According to Booker T, the six-sided ring was what set TNA apart from other wrestling companies and made them unique. He mentioned that he doesn’t believe it would be difficult to produce and maintain these rings, suggesting that they could be stored in a warehouse to keep them fresh throughout the year.

When asked about whether the ring should make a comeback alongside TNA’s rebranding in January 2024, Booker T expressed his desire for its return, saying, “Yes, I wish they would bring it back.”

Booker T has a personal connection to TNA Wrestling, as he joined the promotion in 2007 and remained with them until 2010. He then returned to WWE in 2011, participating in that year’s Royal Rumble match.

The six-sided ring was a defining feature of TNA Wrestling during its early years. It provided a different dynamic and added excitement to matches. However, TNA eventually transitioned to a traditional four-sided ring, which is commonly used in professional wrestling.

Bringing back the six-sided ring could potentially reignite nostalgia among longtime TNA fans and create a unique selling point for the promotion. It would differentiate TNA from other wrestling companies and help them carve out their own identity once again.

As wrestling fans eagerly await TNA’s rebranding in 2024, the return of the six-sided ring could be a significant move that generates buzz and attracts attention. Only time will tell if TNA Wrestling decides to heed Booker T’s advice and bring back this iconic feature.
