Wrestling superstar Bobby Lashley has expressed his intention to transition into a boxing ring.
Previously, it was disclosed on eWn that Lashley’s tenure with WWE is reaching its conclusion this weekend, rendering him an independent athlete.
Lashley, known in the WWE universe as The Almighty One, unveiled his plans to step into the boxing world during a fresh session on “The Laboratory” podcast. He will be competing against an established adversary in the famed city of Las Vegas, Nevada. His words detailed his constant goal to challenge the limits of his capabilities. He said,
“I derive pleasure from pushing my boundaries to undertake incredible feats. I establish targets for myself on a daily basis. What can I achieve? How far can I stretch my boundaries? What tasks can I undertake? I aim to participate in a marathon, an endeavor I seek to undertake shortly. Equally, I want to engage in jiu-jitsu, with the ambition to clinch a world championship in this martial art. Next on my plate is a boxing match, a proposition we’ve already discussed. I might just have the chance to make this a reality. I will be dueling with a contender in Vegas.”
