As WWE Backlash draws near, tensions continue to rise between WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and his next challenger, Bobby Lashley. On Sunday, the Almighty Tweeted a picture of himself holding the WWE Championship. “My prophecy has been written for YEARS,” wrote Lashley. “I am the TRUE ‘Chosen One.’
One more week. Your story was fun @DMcIntyreWWE, but that’s all it is: A story.
My prophecy has been written for YEARS. I am the TRUE “Chosen One”.

McIntyre responded by calling Lashley out. He said it was “cute” how Lashley bought a replica championship. McIntyre also said Lashley will end up like the champion’s previous challenger, Seth Rollins. He also criticized Lashley’s use of the “Chosen One” moniker. “‘The Chosen One’ was 11-years-ago, since then I’ve been released, came back & became champion,” wrote McIntyre. “The fans chose me. What have you done?”
FYI, people think this is photoshop. No. He actually asked to have these photos took whilst he was playing make-believe 😂
