Diamond Mine has been a fearless force since being it debuted on NXT, but Bobby Fish and Kushida proved themselves to be just as tough on Tuesday. A brawl ensued to kick off a match between the two parties. (Roderick Strong teamed up with Tyler Rust to represent the group.)
Kushida was the target of Diamond Mine as “The Time Splitter” found himself isolated for a good chunk of the match, but a double springboard elbow opened the door for Fish. The tide turned when some underhanded tactics helped Strong and Rust gain the upper hand.

Diamond Mine focused on the lower body of Fish, but Kushida later got the hot tag. Rust got -a near fall with a flipping neckbreaker, but Fish broke up the pin. In the end, Kushida displayed his caginess when he flipped over Rust for the Hoverboard lock and made him tap out, handing Diamond Mine its first loss as a faction.
