Tonight’s episode of NXT started off with a bang, as Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic took on The Undisputed Era’s Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly for the NXT Tag Team Championships in a match that saw Fish leaving much too early due to an injury.
Early in the match, Fish was injured in some form, and was forced to leave. Undisputed Era member Roderick Strong stepped into his place, and was able to help lead his teammate to a victory. In a match that was incredibly rough from the start, things ended with a bang. As Lee and Dijakovic began dominating towards the end of the match, Adam Cole attempted to intervene, but was literally tackled into the crowd by Lee.
Unfortunately for Dijakovic, that left him all alone in the ring, where Strong and O’Reilly were able to land a High-Low on him for the win. The victory retained the NXT Tag Team Championships, with the hope that Fish’s injury isn’t too severe.
