Bo Dallas, the popular wrestling superstar, recently made an appearance on the well-known podcast, “Headlock Der Pro Wrestling”. He opened up about the transformation he undergoes when he steps onto the wrestling stage as his alter ego, Uncle Howdy. He conveyed his feelings of divergence from his usual self when embodying the character.

Here are some noteworthy points that Bo Dallas covered during his conversation on the podcast:

Uncle Howdy’s Emotional Transition: “I go through a myriad of emotions. I knew I was going to re-enter the wrestling world eventually. We were so engulfed in excitement just before Windham’s demise that it was inevitable. When his death occurred, I needed some time to process it. As I was grappling with my grief, I knew I had to make a comeback in his honor. These were the thoughts that were constantly on my mind. Doubts and questions like, ‘Can I do this? What will it be like?’ would frequently surface. But every single time that I hear that music tuned for my entry, it feels like he is right beside me. I truly believe that.”

The Alteration It Brings In His Personality: “Any doubts or fears, I welcome them as a signal of change. I feel like he is providing me the courage to go through with it. This courage is formidable, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in any previous wrestling instances. When I step onto that stage, my belief in what I’m doing is so strong that I don’t feel like the same person anymore. I feel like I transition more into Uncle Howdy than my usual selves, Bo Dallas or Taylor Rotunda. If you were to have a discussion with me while I’m on stage, you’d notice a conspicuous difference from the person you’re hearing right now.”
