In the latest episode of SmackDown, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill had their eyes firmly set on reclaiming the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, their plans were thwarted as The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) managed to hold onto their titles through questionable means.
Battling fiercely, the defending champions were nearing a tight situation which could possibly lead to the loss of their titles. However, they got an unexpected ally in Blair Davenport, who teamed up with Fyre and Dawn to overpower the contenders and provoked a disqualification. In spite of losing the match, The Unholy Union managed to keep the championship since the title doesn’t switch hands in disqualification scenarios.

It remains in mystery whether this new alliance will endure beyond this week and morph this trio into a complete stable. Given Davenport’s notable underutilization since her entry to the main roster in the 2024 WWE Draft, this could be WWE’s maneuver to reassign her in a new role that provides her more screen presence.
Nonetheless, Belair and Cargill are expected to have another go at the tag titles, having won this match, which will potentially lead Naomi to come to their rescue to restore equilibrium, as she has previously supported them and has been at odds with Davenport since her arrival.
