Black Wrestlers Matter Event Set For Aug. 20
Promoter Jon West is putting on a celebration of black professional wrestling on Aug. 22, 2020. It’ll take place in Des Moines, Iowa, and while a limited amount of fans can attend (tickets are now available), it’ll also be streamed so everyone can watch the display of talent.
The Black Wrestlers Matter show is raising funds for Knowledge is Power, a foundation that helps out youth in Des Moines. The event will feature Fay Jackson, Air Wolf, “Frontman” Jah-C, and local talent such as West himself, and “Queen Bee” Brooke Valentine.
