On a recent episode of “The Ariel Helwani Show”, former WWE Superstar Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) revealed plans to join multiple shows for Major League Wrestling (MLW).

Here are a few key points from the podcast:

Discussing his future in wrestling, Bishop Dyer stated: “I have ambitions. Obviously, wrestling is something I want to keep doing. I have an interest in wrestling in Japan. I’m anticipating other shows with new talent I’ve not worked with before. I believe MLW is heading in an amazing direction. They’re doing fantastic work, and I’m privileged to be a part of it. I will be partaking in several shows with them.”

Discussing his collaboration with MLW, Dyer said: “I’m absolutely eager to be associated with MLW. They’re accomplishing incredible things. Their drive to grow and become a significant player in this industry is what makes wrestling exciting at present. The influx of talent and major stars, alongside their remarkable achievements, is what I’m excited to be part of.”

On MLW moving Battle Riot VII to a larger venue due to ticket demand, Dyer said: “Our initial venue for next month already sold out, and we’ve had to move to a larger location. This signifies their successful approach in hosting shows and attracting stars. I’m committed to doing a few shows with them and hopefully continuing from there. I would certainly love to get hold of the MLW Championship.”

MLW has confirmed that Bishop Dyer will make his debut at Battle RIOT VII next month.

Dyer is set to compete in the 40-wrestler Battle RIOT match at the show in Los Angeles on April 5th.

Check out the official announcement:

“On April 5, in Los Angeles, Bishop Dyer will make his first appearance in MLW at Battle RIOT VII.

Major League Wrestling (MLW) is excited to announce that Bishop Dyer is set to debut in the chaotic 40-wrestler Battle RIOT event. This 6’8” giant, best known as “The Nomad” will bring his storm of destruction to his inaugural MLW appearance.

Dyer’s violent aggression led to his dismissal from the NFL, where he played as an offensive guard for the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals. However, this trait makes him a powerful contender in MLW. Along with a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gold medal, Dyer’s amateur boxing history and reputation of barroom fights make him a looming threat in the MLW.

With César Durán as the new president, MLW continues their promise of big moves by introducing Bishop Dyer into Battle RIOT. Dyer stands as a dominant contender to usurp Matt Riddle’s MLW World Heavyweight Championship amidst 40 other fighters.

But be warned, this isn’t just a fight for survival. A win for Dyer would see him debut as the new MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

Is he disliked? Without a doubt.

Is he unstoppable? We’re on the brink of finding out.

Will “The Nomad” be able to trump 39 other fighters and claim his seat in MLW? Join us live in Los Angeles on April 5 to find out!”
