Orlando, Florida is setting its sights on hosting a variety of UFC and WWE events spanning across several years. The Greater Orlando Sports Commission is seeking an million grant from the Tourist Development Tax Sports Incentive Committee, a move that is part of a bid to host four major TKO events. The projected events are outlined as follows:
In 2026, it’s proposed the WWE Survivor Series or Saturday Night’s Main Event, hosted at the Kia Center.
By 2027, plans are possible for a UFC pay-per-view event, also at the Kia Center.
For 2028, WWE’s Royal Rumble is expected to grace Camping World Stadium.
In 2031, WWE’s WrestleMania, a two-night event, could be held at Camping World Stadium, with extra shows making an appearance at the Kia Center during WrestleMania week.
The President of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, Jason Siegel, has conveyed that this ambitious proposition comes after nearly two years of deliberation. It follows in the footsteps of sports commissions like Indianapolis, known for its history of hosting grand WWE spectacles and is set to continuous. It’s worth mentioning that Orlando has already hosted WrestleMania XXIV and 33 at Camping World Stadium in the past.
