At the WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 event held in Las Vegas, NXT fans were treated to the unexpected appearance of celebrated magicians Penn & Teller. Teaming up with Lexis King, the Heritage Cup Champion, they thrilled the audience with a magic trick that made King’s Heritage Cup disappear. Adding to the fun, Teller wore a ‘Yeet’ shirt and kept the audience on their toes with a few yeet dance moves.
During the same event, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo stumped the WWE Universe when he betrayed The Family, resulting in a win for Darkstate at the pay-per-view tag team clash. Seemingly going against his longstanding partnership with “The Don” Tony D’Angelo, Lorenzo unleashed a surprise attack leading to Darkstate’s win. After his stunning betrayal, an enraged Lorenzo lashed out at D’Angelo accusing him of never trusting him.
Also, Stephanie Vaquer, the recently crowned WWE NXT Women’s Champion, was put to the test at the event. Taking on four opponents in an intense Fatal 4-Way match, Vaquer, against all odds, managed to retain her title. This victory comes after Vaquer’s initial win of the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Roadblock in New York City six weeks ago. She has been the champion for 39 days now.
Additionally, reigning WWE NXT Champion, Oba Femi, defended his title successfully against two worthy opponents — Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams. The fierce Triple Threat Match couldn’t undermine Femi’s dominance, as he ended the encounter with a crushing Fall From Grace move on Je’Von Evans. This sealed his victory and helped retain the championship. Claiming the title 102 days ago at New Year’s Evil in January, Femi continues his championship reign.
