Wrestling star Big E recently expressed his views hoping that his fans won’t feel distressed for him, considering it’s been more than two years since an injury put a halt to his ring-side career.
The former WWE world champion has been on a hiatus since March 2022 due to a broken neck sustained during a SmackDown match.
In a recent interaction with Adrian Hernandez, Big E, renowned for his positivity, offered some reflections about his injury along with a message for his supporters. He said,
“Life is good for me at the moment and it has been that way since the beginning. Instead of dwelling on my losses, the things I am unable to do, or the absence from the ring, I choose to focus on my blessings. I count myself lucky and privileged. For instance, I am pain-free; I enjoy good mobility, frequent the gym, and I am leading a pretty awesome life. There’s no need for anyone to express sympathy or feel sorry for me. I possess so many incredible things in life.”
Aside from his in-ring activities, Big E has been contributing to WWE as a pundit during kickoff and post-show activities, in addition to assisting with talent spotting.
During the last week’s episode of WWE RAW, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were rescued by Odyssey Jones, stoking speculations that Jones might be a potential replacement for Big E.
