During last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Kofi Kingston urged Big E to chase his singles dreams. Tonight, Big E started with a bang, earning a very impressive victory over The Miz in the process.
In a match that the Miz initially seemed primed to win, it was Big E who shocked his opponent, coming away with a big win after capitalizing late in the match. After the referee ejected John Morrison towards the end of the match for being too much of a distraction, Big E nearly rolled up Miz for the win. However, after that, he quickly locked Miz into the Stretch Muffler, forcing Miz to tap out with no one to help him.
