Big E Announces ‘Our Heroes Rock’, An Animated Series That Highlights The Heroes Of Black History

Big E knows all about “New Day Rocks” but his newest project will show people that “Our Heroes Rock”.

Announced on this week’s episode of New Day: Feel The Power and shared by co-creator Andreas Hale, “Our Heroes Rock” is an upcoming “3D animated family series that explores the Heroes of Black History through Hip-Hop and Science Fiction.”

The first episode, featuring Ruby Bridges, will launch will soon, more information can be found on the project’s Kickstarter page. Bridges was the first African-American child to desegregate an all-white school in New Orleans in 1960. Other historical figures featured on the promotional materials for the series include Rosa Parks and Former United States Representative John Lewis.

The project is a collaboration between Big E, Andreas Hale and Jonathan Davenport. Hale has previously appeared on the New Day podcast and works as a Sporting News Senior Editor. He is also a co-host of the Wrestling With Stereotypes series, which has been featured as a panel discussion at Starrcast. Davenport is a graphic artist that has previously designed ring gear for The New Day.

The big picture for WrestleMania 37 came together tonight on the SmackDown side, as Edge (finally) called his shot and will face Roman Reigns at the show of shows. Riddle also won the WWE United States Championship while Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
