Bianca Belair shared with TheWrestlingClassic’s Justin Dhillon and Nickie Booshie of Shakkas Den on Casual Conversations that watching Becky Lynch become the NXT Women’s Champion again made her feel motivated to possibly return to NXT and accomplish that goal herself.

Lynch recently lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Lyra Valkyria at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc. Belair said,

“When I saw Becky in NXT, and then she got the title, I was like, ‘Oh, wait,’ because she never got the title when she was in NXT and so I was very happy for her. I was like, ‘You go and get that title,’ because we all know that, especially when you start in NXT, that’s where you’re trying to prove yourself. That’s where the grind is real, you’re trying to show ‘I belong here,’ and that’s the foundation of everything,” Bianca said. “So, to leave NXT without the title, even though you go and — Becky went and main-evented WrestleMania, I main-evented WrestleMania. I’ve become a three-time champion. I’ve done historic matches on the main roster, [but] it’s still in the back of your mind. You’re just like, ‘But I never got that back then.’ For me, that NXT Title was validation for me when I was in NXT and I never understood like, ‘Why can’t I accomplish this and get this title, because if I can’t do this here, how can I do things on the main roster?’

“So, when I saw her get that title, I was like ‘I know that was a checkmark for her,’ and even though she’s gone on to do great things, that was always something she wanted to check off her list,” Belair added. ” I’m like, ‘You know what? I feel her because I feel the same way.’ So, yes, I can see one day trying to go and Mark that off my accomplishments list because I was never able to do that.”

Bianca Belair Discusses Motivation to Return to NXT and Win the Women’s Championship

In a recent interview with TheWrestlingClassic’s Justin Dhillon and Nickie Booshie of Shakkas Den on Casual Conversations, Bianca Belair opened up about her motivation to possibly return to NXT and achieve the goal of becoming the Women’s Champion.

Belair expressed her admiration for Becky Lynch’s recent reign as the NXT Women’s Champion, stating that it inspired her to consider a return to NXT and pursue the same accomplishment. Lynch recently lost the title to Lyra Valkyria at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc.

That’s where the grind is real, you’re trying to show ‘I belong here,’ and that’s the foundation of everything,” said Belair.

Belair also reflected on her own journey in NXT and how not winning the Women’s Championship during her time there has always been in the back of her mind. Despite achieving significant success on the main roster, including main-eventing WrestleMania and becoming a three-time champion, Belair still feels the need to validate her time in NXT by winning the title.

“For me, that NXT Title was validation for me when I was in NXT and I never understood like, ‘Why can’t I accomplish this and get this title because if I can’t do this here, how can I do things on the main roster?'” she explained.

Belair acknowledged that Lynch’s title win in NXT was a significant milestone for her and resonated with her own aspirations. She expressed her desire to one day mark winning the NXT Women’s Championship off her list of accomplishments.

“So, when I saw her get that title, I was like ‘I know that was a checkmark for her,’ and even though she’s gone on to do great things, that was always something she wanted to check off her list,” Belair added. “I’m like, ‘You know what? I feel her because I feel the same way.’ So, yes, I can see one day trying to go and mark that off my accomplishments list because I was never able to do that.”

Belair’s comments have sparked speculation among fans about a potential return to NXT in the future. As one of the most talented and charismatic performers in WWE, her presence in the NXT Women’s division would undoubtedly bring excitement and fresh matchups.

Fans will have to wait and see if Belair decides to pursue her goal of becoming the NXT Women’s Champion. In the meantime, they can stay updated with all the latest wrestling news on eWrestlingNews.com or follow the website on Twitter and Facebook.
