Superstars from the WWE Women’s Tag Team division, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, are revelling in the increasingly diverse competition for their titles. Despite being part and parcel of SmackDown, this team has recently defended their championship on an episode of RAW against Damage CTRL, regardless of challenging distractions by NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.
Prior to facing off with these challengers, Belair and Cargill had made successful defenses against them. On RAW Talk, the reigning tag team champion duo expressed their enthusiasm for the escalating challenges and acknowledged the involvement of talent from NXT.
BB: “Look, they showed great fighting spirit on SmackDown, and they should indeed be content with their performance. However, rather than honing their skills back in NXT, they decided to intrude our business on Raw tonight.”
JC: “If you ask me, it was embarrassing for them. They stirred up trouble with not just IYO, Kairi, but with everyone. Why would they do such a thing? I, for one, am excited for how this development is shaking up the tag team division.”
BB: “I agree. I appreciate their audacity, but they seem to be stirring up enmity. Yet, it injects an interesting dynamic into the mix of the tag team division.”
JC: “That was our initial motive. But they need to know, these belts are ours.”
BB: “True, but I thrive on competition, so this is exciting for me.”
JC: “We both love a good challenge. Raw, SmackDown, NXT; whoever it is, we are ready to take it on. Bring it on!”
As it stands, Belair and Cargill enjoy their second time holding the tag team title since retaking it in August during the WWE Bash In Berlin event.
