In her own words, Belair shared, “Everyone is already curious about Caitlin Clark attending one of the WWE’s Premium Live Events in Indianapolis. I love the progress unfolding in the WNBA. Appreciation for women is increasing and I’ve always opined that we don’t need to change anything. We just need the opportunities, we need the media coverage, and the WNBA is doing that.”
Belair further spoke about WWE’s breakthrough achievements for women in wrestling. These notable achievements notably included women as the top-billed attractions at WrestleMania and various weekly events. The previous Women’s Champion also expressed her excitement at the possibility of merging these two worlds. She urged Clark to consider joining the Royal Rumble as one of the thirty competitors.
