Bianca Belair argues that there is no notable frustration in the WWE women’s division. She emphasizes the current competitive atmosphere as everyone is aspiring for a place in WrestleMania.
Contrary to several reports criticizing the little attention given to the development of future contenders or presenting opportunities to female performers outside of the popular names, Belair conveyed to the New York Post that she hasn’t observed any disconsolation backstage. In her words,
“I honestly haven’t identified any discontent. I can say that currently, it is the WrestleMania season and everyone is competing for a spot on that event. It is our biggest time of the year, akin to our Super Bowl. The aspiration to be a part of WrestleMania is what everyone is pursuing. The talent on our roster is copious, and we’ve seen that with the Royal Rumble where female performers from different eras participated. Any of these women could have a match worthy of WrestleMania. This is why I’m excited about the two new titles that would highlight this talent.”
Belair further added,
“This time of year is naturally chaotic, with everyone vying for a spot at WrestleMania. Such is the nature of this time of year. With the immense talent that our roster boasts, we do need those moments to highlight that. It will become more intense as female stars from NXT will be invited to join, intensifying the competition for a berth at WrestleMania. If you don’t aspire to be a part of WrestleMania, then why are you in this business? Everyone’s aspiration is to be at WrestleMania, and that’s quite natural.”
She reaffirms her support for WWE Women’s creative direction, amidst rumored complaints from the roster.
