Wrestling superstar Bianca Belair has previously seen numerous likenesses produced of herself, however, she is optimistic about one unique attire soon being replicated in action figure form.
During WWE NXT TakeOver: Portland, Belair faced off against Rhea Ripley for the highly desired NXT Women’s Championship. Her choice of outfit for the night was a distinct tribute to Black History Month.
Even though Belair did not clinch the title that very evening, she has achieved multiple historic moments in her career, including partaking in the very first WrestleMania main event that exclusively featured black female wrestlers.
In a recent episode of the “Ring The Belle” podcast, Belair discussed the memorable attire and the prospects of it being transformed into a WWE action figure. She commented,
“It was indeed a special moment. The gear, the accessories, the symbolism behind it all. It’s my hope that it will be immortalized as an action figure some day. It was an unforgettable NXT experience. Perhaps, I should bring something comparative to the main roster.
“At times, I find myself double-checking to truly grasp the magnitude of it. You see, I am out there simply trying to achieve remarkable things, unapologetically being myself, carving my own legacy, and revolutionizing the game. Essentially, my aim here is to change the game, as well as pave way for those who come after me.”
Belair is presently teaming up with Jade Cargill, and together they are in the midst of their premier tenure as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
In defense of their title, the duo will go up against The Unholy Union, as well as Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark at the WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland. This event is scheduled for June 15.
