We are here again with another compelling eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

In the recent days, three WWE Superstars have betrayed their allies in shocking turns of events. Let’s evaluate and rate the occurrences!

Today’s intriguing question is, “Based on the recent surprising heel turns, who had the most compelling story between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor ousting Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest from The Judgment Day, or Wes Lee ending his alliance with The Rascalz?”

We look forward to your insightful comments and discussions below.

Here’s my personal opinion:

Predicting WWE storylines’ direction is often challenging, more so with Wes Lee’s betrayal of The Rascalz. Considering the fact that the other members of the group are TNA wrestlers, I have concerns about their continued presence in WWE. Their feud could potentially progress on Impact, but being a non-viewer of the show, it doesn’t factor much into my wrestling fandom. The uncertainty surrounding this intriguing storyline has me eagerly anticipating next week’s episode.

Despite its predictability during SummerSlam, I strongly feel that Dominik Mysterio’s shocking betrayal of Rhea Ripley will ultimately steal the spotlight.

While Finn Balor’s decision to oust Damian Priest does establish him as The Judgment Day’s frontrunner and solidifies Priest as a fan favorite, the Mysterio-Ripley saga also has its unique outcomes. Ripley is now on the path to heroism and has the opportunity to participate in a potential gimmick match. The showdown between Priest and Balor will likely be straightforward. On the other hand, we might see something like Ripley against Liv Morgan in an unconventional match – say, with Dominik Mysterio locked in a shark cage, with the winner getting a few moments to extract revenge.

Lee’s heel turn significantly impacts his NXT career as this is the first time he exemplifies a villainous persona. However, with NXT’s track record of almost instantaneously transforming wrestlers back to hero-characters, this change might be short-lived, unlike Priest and Ripley’s definitive J-Day exit. In terms of crowd reaction, Mysterio’s shocking turn garnered more applause, which further amplifies the dramatic proportions of his decision over Balor’s.
