As previously shared by us here at eWn, Dalton Castle faced an unfortunate injury in his last month’s duel with Roderick Strong on AEW Collision.
The encounter had to undergo editing due to Castle’s injury. He was seriously hit during the bout as he was at the receiving end of Strong’s jumping knee attack, leaving him unconscious.
Later, AEW’s President Tony Khan confirmed the unfortunate news that Castle will remain in therapy for the entirety of 2024.
It has been reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Castle experienced a bicep tear during his match against Strong.
Thisencounter severely impacted Castle as the direct hit from Strong’s knee incapacitated him. As a result, the referee had to reinitialize the count post Castle’s initial failure to kick out.
