We’ve reported earlier on eWn that The Steiner Brothers (comprising of WWE Hall of Famers Rick and Scott Steiner) marked their presence at the SummerSlam 2024 pay-per-view event on Saturday night.

Rick’s son and Scott’s nephew, Bron Breakker, emerged victorious against Sami Zayn, earning him the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

It’s worth mentioning that Rick Steiner got into the headlines for ill-suited transphobic remarks towards Gisele Shaw at the 2023 WrestleCon convention in Los Angeles during the WrestleMania 39 Weekend. The inappropriate comments resulted in his expulsion from the convention.

A recent update from Fightful Select informs that several staff members of WWE have noted Rick Steiner’s faltered relationship with the company post his comments. Nevertheless, Steiner has been recorded admitting his mistakes, ensuring that such instances won’t be repeated in the future. Reports also suggest that Steiner extended an apology to Shaw, but it remains unclear if they have had a private conversation regarding the issue.

The celebrated Steiner Brothers were honored with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame Class in 2022.
