In a thrilling Blood & Guts match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts episode, Team AEW managed to triumph over Team Elite. The victorious team, composed of Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, and The Acclaimed, had a hard-fought battle against The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, and Hangman Page from Team Elite.

The clash took a dramatic turn when Perry got handcuffed to the cage and absorbed an unshielded chair shot from Mark Briscoe. Subsequently, Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio verified that a gimmick chair was utilized for the unprotected chair shot.

Alvarez stated, “Well, I can tell you this: it was one of the shaved-down chairs. I don’t know how shaved down that is, I don’t know how soft that is, but it was a gimmicked chair. But still, they waffled that dude with that chair.”
