During the recent 2024 AEW All In pay-per-view occasion at Wembley Stadium, London, England, wrestler Daniel Garcia made a surprising comeback.
Garcia interrupted the match between Will Ospreay and MJF for the title of AEW American Championship, preventing MJF from using an external tool.
Earlier, eWn reported that Garcia’s tenure with AEW was expected to end in October, with no new agreement yet in place. Since his unexpected return, it has been reported by Pwinsider that Garcia still hasn’t confirmed a new contract, although negotiations are ongoing.
Before the AEW All In: London 2024 event kicked off, MJF, a former AEW American Champion, appeared on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, expressing his admiration for Bryan Danielson.
Two significant takeaways from the podcast include:
Thoughts on Bryan Danielson: “As I reluctantly express this, Bryan Danielson is definitely among the top of the top. Sharing the ring with what many call the finest, none can surpass him,” confessed MJF.
About the victory against Danielson: “I’ll admit, I was, if there’s a time to employ the term lucky, regarding my win over Bryan Danielson is that time. My triumph came through cunning, an attribute I have aplenty, and it was arguably the toughest match I’ve ever played.”
