Becky Lynch, a superstar in WWE, has successfully transposed her career and is ready to transport her talents to interstellar adventures in the up-coming series, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
Lynch broke the news of her latest role as part of the spaceship crew in the imminent science fiction saga via Twitter, stating:
“I am thrilled to reveal that I am coming on board for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as part of the bridge team. Gents, being part of this has been an outstanding experience, sharing screens with such a dynamic ensemble of cast and crew, and I am excited for all of you to watch it once it premieres on Paramount Plus. Remember, live long and prosper.”
Her debut in the acting realm included a role in The Marine 6, where she portrayed a character who snuffed out the life of the series’ protagonist Jake Carter, who The Miz brought to life.
Lynch, the ex-Women’s Champion, also shot a scene to run after the main events of Marvel’s Eternals, which was discarded, allegedly, for setting a dreary tone.
The ace wrestler from Ireland culminated her tenure in WWE this June, but speculations are rife about her impending return to the ring.
She has fueled these conjectures herself, asserting that her final stint in the wrestling world won’t end with Dominik Mysterio slamming a cage door on her.
“Not your typical Starfleet officer! I’m teleporting into the first season of @StarTrek: Starfleet Academy on @ParamountPlus.” – Rebecca Quin (@BeckyLynchWWE) tweeted on December 16, 2024.
