Becky Lynch Cheats To Beat Bianca Belair, Retain RAW Women’s Title

Becky Lynch agreed to give Bianca Belair a shot at the WWE RAW Women’s Championship last week, and to open tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, she successfully defended the title against “The EST.”
Belair, arguably the underdog coming into the bout, wound up looking like the favorite to win the contest at various points. She overpowered “The Man” all match long, and she even lifted the champion over her head in one impressive show of strength. As the back-and-forth action continued, Lynch eventually gained the upper hand. She locking in a submission, but Belair lifted Lynch and powered out of the hold. After the action briefly spilled to the outside, it returned to the ring for the final stretch.
The pair continued to battle it out until the end of the bout, where the match broke down into chaos. “The EST” lifted Lynch out from the corner, hoping to plant her with the KOD, but “The Man” grabbed the ropes and stopped her. In doing so, Lynch also pulled the covering off the turnbuckle, she capitalized by shoving Belair into the exposed turnbuckle and quickly rolled her up for the win. To secure the three count, Lynch tugged Belair’s trunk in a blatant violation of the rules.
Nonetheless, despite Belair’s best efforts, Lynch left the bout with the title still around her waist.
