Bayley Vs. Sasha Draws Increased SmackDown Viewership
The seeming capper on Bayley and Sasha’s feud over the SmackDown Women’s Title was enough of a draw to increase SmackDown’s ratings even amidst a news-heavy election week. The blue brand drew an average of 2.209 million viewers according to Showbuzz Daily‘s numbers. The first hour drew 2.312 million viewers, while hour two’s Rey Mysterio/Seth Rollins drama went down to 2.106 million viewers.
In the all-important 18-49 demos, SmackDown was the top of the Friday night charts, drawing a 0.65 rating. It was number 5 for the night overall, falling under ABC’s election coverage, Greatest #AtHome Videos, Magnum P.I., and American Ninja Warrior.
