Bayley Uses The Ropes To Beat Charlotte Flair

During last week’s SmackDown, Bayley and Charlotte Flair set up a match between the two feuding champions. With Bayley looking to prove that she could take on Flair by herself, she told Sasha Banks to stay behind this time, and then shocked Flair by coming away with the win, albeit due to some nefarious circumstances.

During the match, Bayley and Flair fought back and forth in a match that showcased just how talented both superstars are. However, Bayley still needed to nefarious help to come away with the win, as she reversed a pin attempt by Flair by rolling Flair up and holding onto the ropes to secure the victory. Once backstage, Bayley and Banks celebrated the win, with Bayley saying she knew she was able to win without Banks’ help.

After the Break, Flair has Bayley in a rear chin lock. Banks is shown watching the match on a monitor. Flair goes up top for a moonsault but Bayley pulls Flair off the top rope. Bayley sends Flair to the outside. Bayley tries her corner dive but Flair moves out of the way. Bayley sends Flair into the apron. Flair slowly rolls back into the ring. Bayley chokes Flair on the middle rope. Bayley tries a cross body but Flair catches Bayley in midair. Fallaway slam by Flair. Flair tries a moonsault but Bayley moves out of the way. Flair lands on her feet and boots Bayley in the face. Bayley slams Flair’s head into the mat. Bayley tries a diving elbow but Flair gets her knees up. Flair puts Bayley in a Boston Crab. Bayley gets to the ropes. Bayley land a driving elbow. Flair kicks out. Bayley attempts to put Flair in the Figure-Four. Flair escapes and lights Bayley up with a few chops. Flair rolls up Bayley. Bayley reverses the roll up and holds the ropes to get the pinfall victory.
