Bayley On Mercedes Mone: “I Beg Her Every Day” To Return to WWE

Bayley and Mercedes Mone, then known as Sasha Banks, had memorable matches in NXT and WWE’s main roster against each other. 

They’ve also found success as a tag team by being the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions. Mone left WWE last year after walking out alongside Naomi due to creative differences with WWE. Mone found success in NJPW and is currently on the sidelines after undergoing surgery. 

Speaking with Gorilla Position, Bayley noted that she’s still trying to talk Mone into coming back to WWE.

“I beg her every day. I beg her every chance…you know what, it doesn’t matter where it is. It doesn’t matter how it happens. I would love to one day step back in the ring with her. Whether it’s teaming with her, whether it’s against her. But right now, I just want whatever happiness she needs to feel, whatever she needs to accomplish her dreams, accomplish her goals. I’m just happy to see her happy,” Bayley said.
