WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax, finds herself up against a new rival in her forthcoming title defense. This happened after Bayley secured a win over Naomi in Friday Night SmackDown’s No. 1 contender’s match. Her victory has earned her a title shot at the upcoming WWE Bad Blood event.

Bayley’s triumph was a follow-up from last week’s tag team contest. The set rule was that Naomi or Bayley would become the #1 contender if they won, or if they submitted or got pinned, they would have to leave SmackDown. An unexpected twist occurred when both Bayley and Naomi pinned Jax simultaneously, resulting in General Manager Nick Aldis arranging for an additional singles match to resolve the ambiguity.

The singles match was a straightforward one, where Bayley victoriously emerged, devoid of any interferences or controversies. Although Naomi was visibly disappointed with the outcome, she refrained from any traditional retaliatory action such as attacking Bayley or switching sides. Instead, she recognized Bayley as the deserving winner and departed, visibly upset.

Before the match started earlier in the evening, Nia Jax took a shot at Tiffany Stratton, holding her responsible for failing to intervene and stop last week’s pinfall. She sent out a clear warning to Ms. Money in the Bank: “If this ends bad for me, this will end REALLY, REALLY bad for you.”

What do you make of Naomi’s decision, considering her choice of ring gear? Was Bayley the right choice to take on Nia Jax in Bad Blood? What are the chances that Tiffany Stratton has had enough of Jax and cashes in her briefcase? Share your views and forecasts in the comments section below!
