WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has been paired with Zoey Stark’s following the latter’s debut on WWE RAW and the former NXT talent claims that the duo has a game plan for Money In The Bank 2023.
Stark will compete in the Women’s Money In The Bank 2023 match on July 1st, and she spoke with “Women’s Wrestling Talk” about her strategy heading into the pay-per-view event.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On who paired her with Stratus: “If you’re asking legitimately, I really don’t know, but whoever came up with that idea, thank you because I love it. Trish and I, we are getting along great. We’re having a fun time. She’s been awesome, mentoring me and giving me good tips,” she said.
On Money in the Bank: “Now it’s time to win that Money in the Bank and take that briefcase. Trish is gonna help me out the whole way through. I’m not saying she’s gonna be ringside, but we’re gonna have a game plan on figuring out what the best course is. I’m going to be studying, Zelina [Vega] Becky [Lynch], and then whoever else is in that match.”
The RAW Women’s Championship was replaced by the WWE Women’s Championship on the latest edition of WWE SmackDown, leading to Bianca Belair and Bayley reflecting on their battles for the now-retired title.
The RAW Women’s Championship was retired after Asuka received the new WWE Women’s Championship.
Taking to Twitter, Bayley bid the title farewell. She tweeted,
“Goodbye to the #RAW Womens title. Thanks for the special moments, this being one of MANY.”
Belair then retweeted Bayley’s tweet and wrote,
“One of my absolute favs!!!!!!! Whew I love this match.
Despite our difference we had we made a lot of history together.
Thank you for the fights and memories especially during this title reign.
… respect to one of the greatest in this business!”
