On the podcast “School of Hard Knocks,” actor and former wrestler Dave Bautista – also known as Batista – recently unveiled that the most impactful financial advice he’s ever been given came from The Undertaker, another legend of the wrestling world.
Bautista shared, “The best financial guidance I ever received, which I always reiterate to professional athletes – as they usually grow up without much – is to control their spending once the big money starts rolling in. The Undertaker once said to me, ‘Live beneath your means.'”
He further added, “I was taught a hard lesson. I lost everything after my wrestling career, even my house foreclosed. But, I was given a second chance in the film industry. Now having money in the bank matters more to me than unnecessary luxuries. For instance, I don’t require a Bugatti. It would be nice to have one, but I’m not shelling out three to five million dollars for a car I don’t really need.”
The latest episode of WWE NXT can now be streamed via The CW app. But, it should be mentioned that there are no current plans to incorporate NXT’s previous shows on the platform.
