Bandido Quits Big Lucha Promotion After Fallout With Owner
– ADVERTISMENT –

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bandido has parted ways with Big Lucha, a promotion in Mexico, following a fallout with the owner. An angle was carried out to write him off the television.

It was Bandido owned the promotion, and while the company wanted people to think that, the wrestler did not. All Bandido owned was a share of the gym that the Big Lucha promotion operates out of.

The report notes that Bandido and the owner of Big Lucha had issues with the direction of the promotion. The luchador wanted to get others to leave and form a new promotion but that didn’t happen as the talents sided with the “people who paid them.”

Several wrestlers were upset that Bandido got his brother Gravity a shot in AEW but didn’t vouch for anyone else. Bandido claimed that he made his best efforts but AEW wasn’t interested in pushing anyone else he recommended. The talents at Big Lucha believe Bandido got his brother a full-time job even though AEW has not announced Gravity as a full-time talent yet.
