Backstage WWE SummerSlam News – Is Vince McMahon In Detroit?, Producers Revealed

For those wondering, Vince McMahon is not in Detroit, MI for tonight’s SummerSlam 2023 pay-per-view event. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as the WWE Chairman underwent major spinal surgery last month. For what it’s worth, some people actually expected Vince to be at the show as he’s the type of person to try and prove people wrong.

There won’t be any matches featured on the WWE SummerSlam Kickoff show.

Additionally, there are no additional segments scheduled other than the advertised matches.

* Michael Hayes is producing the Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso matches. Jason Jordan will also be helping out with the Reigns/Uso match.

* Shawn Daivari is producing the Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler match.

* Shane Helms is producing the Logan Paul vs. Ricochet match.

* Jamie Noble is producing the Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor match.

* TJ Wilson is producing the Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair vs. Asuka match.

* Chris “Abyss” Park is producing the GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre match.

* Adam Pearce and Petey Williams are producing the SummerSlam Battle Royal.
