Backstage Update On Who Was Originally Planned To Answer Seth Rollins’ Open Challenge

Seth Rollins was originally slated to issue an open challenge for his WWE World Heavyweight Title on Monday’s episode of Raw. However, that didn’t happen as Finn Balor, who challenges Rollins for the title at Money in the Bank, attacked him. 

Fightful Select reports the original plans called for Tommaso Ciampa to answer the open challenge, but Vince McMahon nixed those plans over the weekend. 

Ciampa beat The Miz instead on the show.
