As we reported earlier here on eWn, there was an argument that took place following the main event of this week’s episode of RAW, which featured The Judgment Day facing off against Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins.
According to multiple sources in the company, the argument is being downplayed and is being described as more of a “difference of opinion.”
One source told Pwinsider that the disagreement was exacerbated by several very last-minute changes. The plans continued to change until the second set of ring entrances for the actual match began. It was noted that this caused the bout to not flow smoothly, which aggravated some of the talents involved. One person said the changes likely contributed to the post-match argument. The same source said it wouldn’t be an issue moving forward because the company is doing great business these days. It is said that almost everyone is being particularly sensitive in terms of making sure the momentum keeps going. With that being said, it could lead to butting of heads from time to time over how certain individuals are booked in their matches and segments.
Fightful Select is reporting that Kevin Owens left the building immediately after the match because he had other obligations. Additionally, it was said that Seth Rollins took a pretty hard hit at one point during the match.
So it seems like water under the bridge at this point and it was just another case of frustration boiling over with late changes. As we previously reported earlier here on eWn, the argument never came close to getting physical.
