The narrative around The Bloodline storyline persists, albeit two wrestlers, namely Hikuleo and Lance Anoa’i, have yet to make their WWE TV debut.
As of 2024, it was made public that both wrestlers had been contracted with WWE.
Fightful Select delivers news that Lance is currently grappling with an injury and it will most likely be a while till he returns to the ring.
Having not entered the ring since June 9, 2024, following a loss of the IWGP Tag Team Titles, Hikuleo has been absent from competition. Despite being part of WWE’s internal roster for numerous months, insiders from creative say he hasn’t been inducted into the current plans.
The significantly large cranium of JD McDonagh, which is frequently a topic of humor on WWE TV, was a point of discussion when he appeared on the “Insight With Chris Van Vliet” podcast. He addressed the banter between the broadcast team and supporters alike.
Here are a few noteworthy points from the podcast:
Regarding the dimensions of his head: “I appreciate my oversized Irish noggin. It seems it’s 2025, and body shaming is still perceived as acceptable. What do you expect me to do? It’s my cranium.”
On the topic of when the chatter began: “Upon departing from Ireland. Honestly, I had never encountered any criticism towards it until I left Ireland. I then stepped foot in the UK wrestling scene, where the fans are particularly inventive with their chants. Thus, I kept hearing stuff like, ‘He’s holding the entire world in his head.’ I simply played along. That’s the only thing you can do. For a while, I had a headbutt as a finishing move. I’m frequently diving from the top rope head-first.”
