Backstage Update On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Status

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided an update on Drew McIntyre’s status following rumors of creative differences, dissatisfaction over pay, his contract expiring soon, and health issues having kept him out of action since WrestleMania. Dave Meltzer stated,

“Drew McIntyre won’t be returning to action for at least a few more weeks, at least based on word over the weekend.”

Meltzer did not specify the reasons for the former WWE Champion’s absence.
