Could Deonna Purrazzo’s time with Impact Wrestling be coming to an end?

According to a report from Fightful Select, Purrazzo’s current Impact Wrestling contract is expected to expire in early January 2024. At that point, she will become a free agent unless a new deal is agreed upon.

The report notes that since the initial expiration period was reported, there hasn’t been any sort of extension made to her current deal. If Purrazzo doesn’t agree to terms on a new contract, it would be the first time she’s been a free agent since she was released by WWE in 2020.

Purrazzo has done big things since her WWE departure, including becoming a three-time Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champion, ROH Women’s World Champion, and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion.

Purrazzo had previously signed a multi-year deal with Impact Wrestling. While the original contract reportedly had an option year when it was being reworked, she outperformed the dates on that contract. It was noted that even after Impact Wrestling picked up the one-year option, there was still a possibility that Purrazzo could’ve left and signed elsewhere.
