Backstage Reaction To Kris Statlander’s Return, Note On The Current State Of AEW’s Production

Kris Statlander’s return and TBS Championship win at AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 was overwhelmingly positive backstage, Pwinsider reports.

Statlander is among the most universally loved people backstage and has trained hard for her return, while also helping out backstage while sidelined with her injury.

The report further suggests that according to the backstage sentiment, TV tapings and production have been more manageable since the conclusion of AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation.

Things have been easier as there’s no longer the need for the crew to go in multiple directions at once producing several shows in the same night.

Without Dark and Elevation, the live audience has shorter and easier shows to process which helps in preventing burnout.
